Card Payment Options at Finlandtour.fi: Restrictions and Conditions

At Finlandtour.fi, we offer card payment options for our customers. However, due to the larger amounts involved in international travel bookings, there are certain restrictions we apply to ensure a smooth transaction process.

We’ve observed that, in the past, cross-country transactions were sometimes held by the payment gateways for multiple checks, leading to declines even after initial approval. This has caused significant issues, as our business requires instant payment confirmation to proceed with bookings and finalize arrangements.

In light of these challenges, we’ve decided to implement restrictions on card payments to minimize risks and delays:

Card Payment Restrictions: #

1. Payment Limit: We cannot accept payments of more than €1500 per day via card for a specific invoice.
2. Cross-Country Payments: Only 3DS-enabled cards will be accepted for cross-border transactions.
3. Gateway Fees: A 6% gateway fee is charged by the payment gateway companies for card transactions. Unfortunately, we have no control over this fee.

While card payments are a convenient option, we encourage customers to consider alternative payment methods for larger transactions to avoid any potential delays or complications.
