This is a unique Arctic adventure where you’ll ride on a frozen fjord in a sled pulled by snowmobile, drill into the ice, catch king crabs, and enjoy a fresh king crab meal in a warm cabin.
Winter thermal wear is essential. A thermal outerwear set (suit, boots, gloves) is often provided during snow activities, but bring layers, wool socks, scarves, and insulated jackets.
Domestic flights (e.g., Helsinki to Rovaniemi or Ivalo) are usually optional/excluded but can be arranged. Please check with our team for current availability and prices. Send us an email at info@finlandtour.fi.
Yes, with moderate walking and guided activities, it’s suitable for families with children and senior travelers. Let us know if you require extra support or modifications.
Daily breakfast is included at each hotel. Some activities like the King Crab Safari also include lunch. For dinners, guests usually explore nearby restaurants unless staying at resorts that include meals.
This is a semi-private tour with some private transfers and guided small-group activities. Customizations for fully private options are available.
This tour is ideal from late November to March, when snow is guaranteed and the Northern Lights are most visible.
The Snow hotel in Kirkenes was top-notch, and the activities were diverse and exciting.
