The Northern Lights tour is conducted by an experienced local guide who drives you to dark, open areas away from city lights.In October we dont usually expect snow in Lapland. The tour includes transportation, guidance on photography, warm clothing (if required), and real-time Aurora updates. Please note that sightings are dependent on weather and solar activity.

You’ll spend about half a day at Santa Claus Village. Activities include meeting Santa in person, crossing the Arctic Circle (and receiving an official certificate), visiting Santa’s Post Office, shopping for souvenirs, and visiting a Husky farm. Optional husky rides or snowmobile mini-safaris may be available depending on weather conditions. Usually activities like Husky sledge and premises like snowman world  does not operate in the month of october. So, in October, you are likely to spend lesser time in Santa claus village compared to December or Janaury. 

The transfer is on a private basis, ensuring flexibility in timing and comfort. You can spend as much time as you like at the attractions within the village before returning to your hotel.

Ranua Wildlife Park (also known as Ranua Zoo) is located about 1 hour 15 minutes from Rovaniemi. It’s Finland’s northernmost zoo, featuring Arctic animals like polar bears, wolverines, reindeer, snowy owls, and lynxes. The tour is a half-day trip and includes transfers, entry tickets, and free time to explore.

The 1.5-hour Finnish sauna session allows you to enjoy the authentic Nordic tradition of alternating between hot sauna steam and cool-down periods. Most facilities provide towels and lockers. You’ll experience deep relaxation, improved circulation, and a glimpse into Finnish wellness culture.

The journey from Giellajohka to Kirkenes takes about 4 to 5 hours by road, passing through beautiful Arctic landscapes and crossing the Finland–Norway border. A valid passport is required during this cross-border transfer.

The King Crab Safari is an unforgettable Arctic experience. You’ll ride on a boat or snowmobile sleigh (depending on the season) to the fishing spot, help pull up crab traps, learn about the species, and enjoy a fresh King Crab meal cooked on-site by your guide. The entire activity lasts about 3 hours.

On the final day, you can choose between:

• A transfer to Kirkenes Airport for your flight to Helsinki, or
• A transfer back to Ivalo, if you wish to continue exploring Finnish Lapland.
• The cost may differ based on your choice, and advance notice is recommended for smooth arrangements.

Daily breakfast is included at all accommodations. Some activities, like the King Crab Safari, include meals. Lunches and dinners (except where specified) are at your own expense, giving you flexibility to try local restaurants and Finnish cuisine.
